Arrested five people believed to be armed

Barrie police arrested five people in a Barrie apartment complex who were believed to be armed. Police received a 911 call Tuesday to the downtown building after getting a report a couple of men were seen carrying a gun into an apartment.
Uniformed officers attended the scene with the tactical response unit and removed five people from the apartment. Three were charged with criminal offences not related to the weapons investigation.
No weapon was found but the incident is still under investigation.
